Basic WordPress security for your root folder (where the WordPress index.php file, and WP-Config file live).
This is not an exhaustive list, but there are some core ideas here to get you started. It’s as easy as typing in these commands into your .htaccess file on the root directory.
However I recommend you perform your own research before applying this list. I take no responsibility for this code on your sites, I am merely showing my own set up.
The ideas in this video cover your index.php, wp-config.php file along with blocking potential hackers (or visitors) browsing your directory.
You should also look after your ftp access, and some specific folders – wp-admin, wp-content and wp-includes which I cover in other videos.
Hope this helps please like my video for more like this.
